During the dry season, winter months from June-October. Water levels are lowest, thus large herds of elephant & buffalo concentrate at the waterholes to drink. Vegetation is dry and low, for better visibility.

Favourite dishes

A kind of bread/porridge prepared with corn flour. It is molded with the hands to form balls. They can be cooked alone or with peanut butter. The balls are dipped by hand in a beef stew or relish (greens).
